Bare Bones Marketing’s founder and Managing Director, Emma Dalzell, has joined a degree Advisory Board at a local university. Emma will now sit on the Charted Manager Degree Apprenticeship Advisory Board at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), and will inform the teaching, research and real-world application of the work-based degree.
The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship places the renowned educational institution at the forefront of the development and delivery of Higher Education. The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship is a new fully-integrated qualification, which combines academic learning and practical training essential to business success. Co-created by the Chartered Management Institute, Chartered Association of Business Schools, Manchester Metropolitan University and employers such as Bare Bones Marketing, the partly government-funded Degree will increase the management capability of UK firms.
Radical change in the development of apprenticeships has now led to the formation of the Advisory Board, led by businesspeople such as Emma. Following her strong corporate career, Emma set up Bare Bones Marketing in 2011 to help make marketing easier for businesses, and just a year later won a “Best Start Up 2012” business award. With extensive experience working in both corporate and independent, and in-house and agency management roles, she will now use her specialism to help inform the teaching of the next generation of business leaders.
