Bare Bones Marketing promoted and managed FAB festival for the second year running. The renowned FAB festival returned for its 27th year, and even the sunshine couldn’t stay away!
Following the success of FAB 2016, we were able to develop the creative brand and offer a strong concept to FAB’s targeted audience, leading to a massive increase in ticket sales, year on year.
We utilised a range of marketing channels, for the greatest coverage, including radio, local press, Youtube, and photography over the whole weekend. We organised all social media platforms for advertising, but also to establish analytics, and monitor the ticket sales and success of press release coverage.
Lightning Seeds took the FAB main stage by storm on the Friday Night, which was completely sold out! Through the acquirement of platinum sponsors- Hero Renewables, and silver sponsors- Neon Freight, Rainbow Day Nursery, and Manchester Metropolitan University, festival goers were able to enjoy the rest of the weekend’s FAB Festival free of charge.
Building on the previous years’ success, a VIP lounge was available Friday and Saturday, thanks to BBM’s sourcing of sponsors, The County Group, Style.Me, House of Quirk, and Caroline’s Occasions. VIP goers could enjoy a glass of Prosecco, and have their hair styled by Style.Me, or House of Quirk. Efficient entry onto the main field, and clean toilets were other perks to behold!
There was something for everybody at FAB. Even the tech setters were catered for with the amazing FAB Festival App, developed by Bare Bones Marketing.
The FAB Festival App was accessed more than nine thousand times! Festival goers were able to find a host of information using the app, including, which bands were playing, where, and when. Information regarding the bands and performers, and even details regarding camping and food vendors. The app was a huge success, enabling us to interact our audience by sending out push notifications. We were able to analyse the use and success of the app, which will help us to improve offerings and value to our clients going forward.
