Community Giving from the Bare Bones Marketing Team

At Bare Bones Marketing, we always make sure we do our bit for our community, charities and not-for-profit organisations. Since our team is so diverse, this is across a huge range of organisations and good causes, individually and as a team.

As a company, we have volunteered for the past two years at FAB Festival, contributing over 400 hours across 9 members of the team, including giving up our weekend to update social media, manage media, photography and even pull a pint or two (we’re a talented bunch you know!).

Our dedication to helping out the community doesn’t stop there. This year our team member Alex took part in a charity boxing match on behalf of Cancer Research UK, after weeks of training and three gruelling rounds he raised http://www.mindanews.com/buy-accutane/ over £250.

Helen completed the Great Manchester Half Marathon in May on behalf of Vasculitis UK, a small charity that helps to fund and support people living with the autoimmune disease. Helen completed the 13.1 miles and raised over £700 for the charity.

Emma B helps support Holmes Chapel Cubs Group volunteering support and time to help organise or support with advice wherever possible. Whilst Emma D has been involved with the PTA for over seven years organising summer and Christmas fairs to help raise over £60,000 toward the school and activities for the children.

Even though we are only a small team, we know how important it is to give back to our community and support causes that we are passionate about. It doesn’t have to take much time and you don’t have to jump out of an airplane (unless you really want to!), even helping out for just a couple of hours can really make a difference. Maybe you could bake some cakes and sell them at work, or volunteer for a local event or group.

There are many charities and organisations to get involved with across Cheshire, you can find out more at https://www.cvsce.org.uk/volunteering.
